fantastic accessibility to parks and local attractions in scarborough
The location made it super easy to stroll to the beautiful Mere park, just over half a kilometer away, where I enjoyed some peaceful moments surrounded by nature, and I was also just a short walk from the bustling Scarborough city center with all its shops and eateries, truly enhancing my weekend city adventure. the room was comfortable and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a warm atmosphere for my stay.

missingWrote a review on Dec 10spacious roomssun terracepoolbar service
We had such a nice stay with spacious rooms and the convenience of a bus stop just a short walk away for a concert we attended. It was great lounging by the sun terrace and enjoying some time by the pool. The only downside was the bar not having any drinks available, so plan ahead if you're thirsty! 😊

The room I stayed in was clean and offered ample space for all my belongings. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the large window provided a refreshing view of the surroundings.
The only downside was the limited dining options available on-site.

The Central Hotel offers a charming and eclectic decor, reminiscent of a classic English inn, which I found delightful. The staff were exceptionally attentive, always ready to assist, making my stay very comfortable and enjoyable.
Better accessibility options for seniors would be helpful.

The Standard Double Room exceeded my expectations, and it was perfect for my photoshoot with its vintage vibe. I really enjoyed relaxing on the sun terrace and having a casual drink by the outdoor pool. A heads up, the TV connection was a bit spotty, but it didn't ruin my overall experience. 😊

Plus, the bathroom had excellent hot water, just like I like, fast and hot, no time wasted.
It was not cheap, but acceptable for what we got.

missingWrote a review on Sept 03spacious roomsgreat locationdifficult staff access
We explored the beautiful area, biking along scenic trails and enjoying some fishing. The location is ideal, close to bars and just a short walk to the beach. Rooms are spacious and quiet, perfect for a group stay.
Finding staff late at night was a hassle. I gave up trying to get assistance. A bit annoying but not a dealbreaker.

The room was spacious, but a crack in the bidet was disappointing.

missingWrote a review on Aug 15comfortable bedcozy barsun terracedamp towel
We enjoyed our stay in a lovely Junior Suite with a huge bed, and the best part was how the helpful reception lady pointed us to a great local takeaway since we arrived late. The place had a cozy bar where we relaxed with some drinks. The sun terrace was perfect for soaking up the sun! The room could've been a bit cleaner as we found a damp towel on the floor, but it didn't ruin our trip. 😊

Beware of the noise from above, it was unbearable!!! Parking arrangement was a hassle, especially with a disabled guest!!! A fan in summer could significantly improve comfort!!!

missingWrote a review on Jul 20friendly staffspacious roomcharming decorparking feein-house dining
The location felt perfect for exploring Scarborough, just a short walk to the beach. My room had great size and the decor had a charming touch. The staff were very friendly and always around to help if I needed anything. The bathroom had excellent hot water, which I truly appreciated after a long day out. the parking situation was a downside, especially with the extra charge of £10 per day. The lack of in-house food options during my stay was disappointing. I expected at least breakfast. I felt the hotel needed some maintenance as the atmosphere felt somewhat neglected, especially with some furnishings like frayed curtains. Despite some issues, my overall experience was pleasant thanks to the space and helpful staff.
